Our virtual open space hackathon provides collaboration for DEVs and Entrepreneurs to meet and work together in creating Minimal Viable Products (MVPs) for startup ideas.
Anyone can get a portion of the Hackathon PrizePool when they contribute time to help the Startup Idea Teams create their Minimal Viable Product (MVP).
During the hackathon there will be online workshops and AMAs to teach different aspects of how to use some of the open source Githubs available now for developing tokens, DApps, and businesses on Cardano.
All Startup Idea Teams will be encouraged to use lean startup principles to development MVPs they can test their hypothesis with to ensure they build a product/service that people want, will use, and pay for.
Anyone who joins ADA MakerSpace can Pitch a Startup Idea during the event. People taking part in the hackathon can provide help to as many ideas as they want and receive a portion of the PrizePool for their time engaging.
And the Top 3 Startup Ideas based on Panel vote will get to pitch for a portion of the PrizePool.
All attendees and Top 3 Startup Ideas will get $ADA & $ADM prizes, gain valuable connections, and learn valuable insights from helping others build things on Cardano blockchain.
Hackathon is work at your own pace, but the more time and deliverables you contribute to Startup Ideas the more of the PrizePool you will receive.
The main difference between our hackathon and others is that normally you join one team and only get prizes if on a winning team, but all attendees are encouraged to contribute time during the hackathon to one or more Startup Idea and everyone providing feedback to Startup Ideas will be rewarded.
Even if you are pitching an idea and it is picked to work on during the hackathon, you should plan to attend a DEV AMA sessions with as many other Startup Ideas to learn from the questions asked and answers given.
Attendees can work on any of the Startup Ideas or Sponsor Challenges as much as they want, whenever they want during the hackathon, but their contribution has to be validated by another attended.
The Hackathon uses this PrizePool for Hours Invested, and things like People Choice for Most Helpful, and of course Top 3 prizes for winning Ideas.
We have PrizePool Faucets you can use to help make the PrizePool as large as possible.
You can use the Virtual Event Space anytime during August 13th-29th to meetup with others online and learn more about our sponsors and partners. https://app.gamerjibe.com/events/60d1fd1d626b9f20f40e38f0
